Driving:

From Stockton, the drive, depending on traffic and road conditions, via CA SR-99 is approximately 158 miles and typically takes about 2 hours and 45–50 minutes. Traveling via I-5 is approximately 174 miles and takes roughly 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Travel by Train:

• Departure from the Stockton Area: If you prefer to travel by rail train, the Gold Runner (Train 702) departs Stockton – Robert J. Cabral Station at 8:03 a.m. and arrives in Hanford at 11:08 a.m. Staff will be available to provide shuttle service between the Hanford station and the meeting location.
• Return to the Stockton Area: For the return trip, Train 717 departs Hanford at 3:39 p.m. This trip includes a connecting bus from the San Joaquin Street Station to Cabral Station, with an estimated arrival time of 6:40 p.m.
• Please note that train schedules are subject to change.

Please plan your travel accordingly. If you intend to take the train, kindly let me know by Tuesday, 3/17/26, so I can assist with coordinating the shuttle service to/from the Hanford station to the Board of Supervisors Chambers, at clerk@sjrrc.com.
