The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) has the primary responsibility for the impartial and effective administration of the Political Reform Act and promotes the integrity of state and local government in California through fair, impartial interpretation and enforcement of political campaigns, lobbying, and conflict of interest laws. The Act requires certain public officials, candidates, and employees to disclose their interests by submitting select statements and forms to the Board Clerk. These documents are available to the public and can answer questions about who is contributing money, who is receiving money, and how it is being spent.

Statements of Economic Interest (Form 700s) – a Statement of Economic Interest form is used to disclose assets and income of public officials (including board and commission members, certain employees, and consultants) that may be materially
affected by their official actions.

All elected public officials listed above are required to file a Form 700. Additional Form 700 filers are identified in SJRRC’s Conflict of Interest Code.
