Riders on Amtrak San Joaquins will now be able to purchase bus-only tickets for Routes 1C, 7, and 19, without the need for their trip to include a train connection. This is the next step of implementing SB 742, legislation that opened up the Amtrak thruway bus network for riders and made the Amtrak San Joaquins service more convenient and accessible. ew Turlock Transit Amtrak Shuttle will provide a valuable service that will improve first and last mile connections for Amtrak San Joaquins riders traveling to and from the Turlock-Denair Amtrak Station. The service will be available during regular Turlock Transit hours, which are Monday-Friday (6:00a.m. – 9:00 p.m.) and Saturday (9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), excluding holidays. The shuttle will transport riders to or from any location in Turlock or Denair and will cost $2.50 each way.
